Prevention Week in Rye
If it "takes a village" to raise a child, then Rye is on it! From May 14-20, the Rye Y will join business owners, clergy, students, police officers, social workers and other local leaders to mark National Prevention Week. Look for activities and messaging around town that seek to raise awareness about substance use prevention for our children and teens. Click here for a list of Y events for youth and family that promote healthy alternatives to drug and alcohol use.

Prevention Week is coordinated locally by RyeACT (Rye Action for Children and Teens), which is mobilizing our community to prevent teen substance use and support healthy choices. Don't miss RyeACT's "Parent U"Town Hall meeting on Tuesday, May 9. Click here for details.
