Rye YMCA Celebrates Active Older Adults with Senior Health and Fitness Day
The Rye YMCA welcomed 62 active older adults to its annual Senior Health and Fitness Day on May 28. The event, which was free and open to the community, featured blood pressure monitoring, guest speakers, a raffle and exercise classes ranging from Tai Chi to Zumba. Rye Gymnasts shine at YMCA Regional Championships
The Rye YMCA gymnastic team traveled to Readfield, Maine on May 20 to compete at the 2019 Northeast Regional YMCA Gymnastics Championships. Seventeen gymnasts competed with approximately 400 other competitors. The Rye Y's Xcel Silver team placed sixth out of 24 YMCA teams. Read more.
