One person can make a big difference and over the next few weeks, we'll be asking you to be that person.
Thanks to the generosity of our members last year,
the Rye Y awarded over $423,000in financial assistance to families and individuals in need.
Over $230,000 of this amount went to camp scholarships, so all children could experience the joy of summer camp. Our Y Cares Financial Assistance Program also funded:
*
Free Safety Around Waterworkshops
to
580
students at local elementary schools as part of our drowning prevention
initiative.
*
Free pool time, lifeguards and meeting space twice a
week, year-round
for the Rye Association for the Handicapped so those with disabilities can get vital exercise.
* LIVESTRONG at the YMCA, so 95 cancer survivors could reclaim their total healthin this 12-week small group program, offered free of charge.
Withyour help, we can ensure that every person who needs financial assistance to participate in Rye programs and activities will have that chance!Thank you in advance for giving generously to the Annual Campaign. Click here to donate.
