A NEW FACE AT SUMMER CAMP
This summer, if you stop by the camp office at our Osborn school location (Discovery, STEAM and Sports camp), you'll most likely see Renee Roberts, our Membership Operations Associate, helping to manage the camp office at Osborn. Renee has been a member of Rye Y's Member Services team for 2 years and was recently promoted to this new role. During the summer she will be handling camp related paperwork and assisting camp parents with all their membership, registration and onsite needs throughout the camp day.   

Highlights
Summer Program Registration starts for members on Wednesday, June 6, online at 6am. 
Choose from kids' and adult swim, kids' soccer and karate, and adult and teen healthy living classes.  Youth aquatics classes are not available for online registration. Members - please drop off youth aquatics forms by Tuesday, June 5. Non-Member registration starts June 8.  Classes start June 23.  Click here to view program brochure.

Rye Y's Pre-School Enrichment Program - NEW!
Our new Pre-School Enrichment Program for children 3-5 years old starts in September.  Participants may choose between a morning or afternoon program on Tuesdays and Thursdays (2 day) or Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (3 day). Weekly activities include: swimming, movement, music, enrichment, sports, art and cooking.  Transportation is available to/from CCNS.  Register now. Parent's Night Out: Friday, June 15, 6:30-9:00pm
Enjoy a night out while we provide a safe and fun environment for the  kids! 
Ages 3 mos-5 years: Storybook Activities: Harold and the Purple Crayon
Located in Child Watch and includes an age appropriate snack.
Family: $20/child; Youth: $25/child; Non-Member: $40/child

Safety Around Water: June 19-22
Ages 3-5: 4-4:30pm and Ages 6-9: 4:30-5:00pm
This 4-session course teaches children water safety and basic swimming skills that help reduce the risk of drowning and build confidence in and around water. FREE and open to all.  Limited availability. Registration required.
 
EXERDROP in the ExerZone: Wednesdays, 4:30-6:30pm
Drop your kids off in the ExerZone for supervised, safe and structured play!
Ages 5-10, 1 hour limit. No reservations needed; purchase wristbands ($5/child) at Member Services. Limited to 16 children, supervised by two trained Rye Y staff. (No other adults are allowed in the ExerZone during this time.)

Celebrate your child's birthday in the ExerZone!
Birthday parties are held on Saturdays and Sundays from 3-5pm for ages 7 and up. Open to Non-Members.   Click here to view details in the program guide.

Ninja Zone in the ExerZone: Mondays, 4:30-5:15pm.
After school active fun for ages 11 and up.  Free to Members.

The Y is currently hiring lifeguards and swim instructors for the Summer months!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!  Share the Y with a Dad!
We invite you to bring your father to the Y as our guest during Father's Day weekend, Saturday-Sunday, June 16-17.  In addition, we're waiving our $100 joiner's fee for dads who join the Rye Y on June 16-17.

Mah Jongg/Canasta 
Canasta: Thursdays, 10:30am-12:30pm;  Mah Jongg: Fridays, 10:30am-12:30pm. Beginners welcome! We will also have a Bridge table available if you are interested in playing Bridge. Later in June, both Canasta and Mah Jongg will move to the Rye Library, day and times to be determined. The Rye YMCA celebrated the spirit of volunteerism at its well-attended Magic and Merriment Benefit on Friday, May 18.
