Secretary Weber announced the appointment of Lisa Martin as Chief Deputy Secretary of State.
“As my Chief of Staff for eight years in the Legislature, Lisa cultivated a team of high-performing staff and created a positive office culture that directly contributed to my success as a lawmaker. I couldn’t be happier that she’s joining me in this new role,” said Secretary Weber.
Martin served as Chief of Staff for Secretary Weber in the State Assembly. Prior to this position, she served as Principal Consultant to State Senator Curren D. Price, Jr, where she served as staff Consultant to the Senate Business, Professions and Economic Development Committee and the Senate Select Committee on Procurement.
A native of Sacramento, Martin graduated from California State University, Sacramento with a Bachelor’s degree in Government and a Master of Public Policy and Administration degree.
