Secretary Padilla recognized two exemplary Secretary of State employees for reaching an important professional milestone: 25 years of state service. Secretary Padilla acknowledged the accomplishments of Rita Gass, the Secretary of State's Chief of Information Officer, and Betty Lazo, an Associate Governmental Program Analyst for the Management Services Division's Safe at Home program.
"Rita and Betty represent the very best in public service and we are lucky to have them on our team," said Secretary Padilla. "Their dedication over the past 25 years has helped improve the lives of countless Californians and their service to the state will continue to make a difference.
