Chestnut Hill College Opens Food Pantry
February 15, 2019
We are happy to announce that, with the help of many CHC community members, the Sisters of Saint Joseph and some dear neighbors in St. Philip Parish, Lafayette Hill, Chestnut Hill College has opened a food pantry for members of our community facing food insecurity. Today, there was an official opening and blessing of the new pantry.

In a recent study of 66 college campuses, 36 percent of students self-identified as food insecure. Thanks to the pantry and all who help stock it, we can affect change on our campus, making sure no student ever has to go hungry.
"Rooted in the mission of Christ, ours is the same mission which continually unfolds in the Church, 'That all may be one as you, Father, are in me, and I in you. I pray that they may be one in us.' (Jn 17:21)."
