No Drugs Down the Drain Program

Safely Dispose Unused Medications

Flushing unused medications down the toilet or sink was once common practice encouraged by doctors and pharmacists. It's now known that it is better for the environment to keep these substances out of the drain and out of the trash.

To find convenient locations with secure disposal drop-off locations or where you can obtain mail-back supplies. Call 844-482-5322 for more information or search for a location near you here

Changes to Metro’s C and K Lines Went into Effect Nov. 3

When building the K Line, Metro connected the new tracks to the existing C Line giving them the opportunity to reconfigure the routes of the C Line and K Line that will better serve more riders going forward.

What this means for riders:

  • C Line trains will run between the new Aviation/Century Station and Norwalk.
  • K Line trains willuntil the LAX/Metro Transit Center opens—run between Redondo Beach and Aviation/Century and separately between Westchester/Veterans and Expo/Crenshaw.

Metro will have plenty of staff at C and K Line stations to help riders navigate their transit trips as the changes are implemented.

Metro will be monitoring ridership and service — and will make any necessary adjustments to help everyone get where they’re going as quickly as possible.
