From the Desk of the Director
I can hear the big sighs of relief across the Alabama coast today. This time, when the experts said the hurricane would go west, it really is. Our prayers are up for our neighbors in Louisiana today. However, this close call has caused the McGill football game to be moved up to Thursday at 6pm, so tune in early to the pre-game at 5:30pm.

October brings our annual Fall Pledge Drive October 20th to 22nd. This year we are having a big 10th Anniversary party right outside the station. Look for our live broadcast set up under the tents. Listeners are invited to stop by! We’ll have games, food, drinks and more. Many of our Catholic schools will be here along with some surprise guests in thanks for 10 years of broadcasting. Help Archangel Radio hit our goal of $85,000 as we begin our second decade of broadcasting all that is good, true, and beautiful.

Have a blessed week.

LA Catholic Morning!

Live from the Command Center
Praise God we avoided what would have been another disaster in Hurricane Delta! Our prayers were answered! We do pray for those in its path though! So, given that we are blessed with another opportunity to broadcast all the good, true, and beautiful, we are making the most of it with another stellar line up on LA Catholic Morning! Spike Carlson joins us on Monday to discuss his article on how the forgotten front porch is making a comeback. We'll talk with Darren Gozali from Venture Catholic, on Tuesday. Vatican Correspondent, Frank Rocca, returns on Wednesday to discuss Pope Francis's new encyclical, Fratelli Tutti. What's the scoop on Amy Barrett and the charismatic group that she's a part of? Dale Coulter shares the answer to that on Thursday. Finally, Michael O'Neill, continues our series on the Marian Shrines and will explore Our Lady of Good Help in Champion, Wisconsin.

Stay safe, ya'll! Don't forget to call your mama! She loves you!

Blessings!
