We want to remind everyone that, now that the City School District of New Rochelle’s food distribution program has halted for the summer, the City of New Rochelle’s program has begun, ensuring that families who rely on the meals can continue to receive them.
Breakfast-lunch combination meals for city residents 18 years and under are available through the New Rochelle Office of Parks & Recreation’s Summer Youth Nutrition program. The meals are made available with partners
WestCOP, HOPE Community Services and the New Rochelle Municipal Housing Authority. They are available each week at:

HOPE Community Services, 50 Washington Ave.
Mon. – Fri.: 10 a.m. until meals run out, generally around noon.

WestCOP 95 Lincoln Ave.
Mon., Thurs. and Fri.: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Tues. and Wed.: 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Bracey Houses, 345 Main St.
Mon. – Thurs.: 9 a.m. – noon.

Mon. – Fri.: 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
The New Rochelle Parks and Recreation Department also offers “Grab & Go” meals to participants in its “Outside The Box in Our Parks” summer program at various sites starting Monday, July 13.

We urge any families with children or teenagers who need these services to take advantage of them. We are aware of the hardships many are facing, but no one should have to go without access to healthy, nutritious meals at any time of the year.
