Dear New Rochelle community,
As we formulate plans to begin the 2020-21 school year facing historic challenges from a worldwide pandemic, we want input from you, the members of our community.
Please take our
survey on the plans found here
and join us Wednesday, July 29 at 7 p.m. for a Town Hall we will hold on the matter. I will make a presentation at the meeting after which, members of the public will have the opportunity to engage with the City School District of New Rochelle administration and have questions answered.
A link for the meeting will be posted on the District’s homepage,
, the day of the meeting or sooner.
Beginning the school year while the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis still impacts our community and our country is new territory for us all. Our administrators, educators and our Re-entry Committee with more than 100 members, bring vast experience and tireless devotion to addressing the many questions and concerns the situation presents.
Our plan will follow New York State guidelines and will provide a high-quality, engaging education with a program that safeguards the health and safety of students, teachers and staff.
Input from you, the CSDNR community, will be invaluable to create a plan that is best for New Rochelle.
