A big thanks to all the City of Waco staffers who assisted with the film, including: Municipal Information, Facilities, Waco Parks and Recreation, Waco Fire, Housing, City Secretary's Office, Public Works and Human Resources.
Have you visited yet? Located in Waco, Texas, it is America’s first law enforcement historical center founded in 1964. The Texas Rangers have served across three centuries and under five flags. It's where Texas history comes to life!

Kyle worked hard all summer long reading books to earn a pass to the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum from his local library.
All decked out in his own Texas Ranger uniform, Kyle came to the museum to be sworn in as a Junior Texas Ranger.
Kyle's dream came true when Texas Ranger Jake Burson pinned on his Junior Ranger badge and signed Kyle's certificate.

Little Gym of Waco Educational Programs
|
|
Education Programs Manager Audrey Ladd visited the Little Gym of Waco in July and August to talk about the Texas Rangers. Working with children ages 3-12, Audrey talked about how the Rangers use DNA and fingerprinting to solve crimes.
After the talk, everyone worked together on an activity. The June campers built their own DNA Double Helix out of pipe cleaners and beads. The August campers fingerprinted themselves and looked to see what kind of fingerprint that they have. Both groups learned how these advances are used by Texas Rangers in investigations. Each presentation finished off with a fun Texas Ranger themed coloring session.

Texas Ranger Children's Badges in England
|
|
|
My son, Barron, was the first American, and thus first Texan, to race a pedal car in the Settrington Cup at the Goodwood Revival in Southern England three years ago. Y’all were gracious enough to sell me 40 children's Ranger badges. We gave them away to the other 40 children from around the globe...they were a huge hit.
Now my youngest son, Briggs, will be wearing his cowboy hat and pedaling for the cup in September. We’d love to come down to Waco and buy another 50 or so badges if you have them in stock. We were so proud to give them away.
Thank you,
Grant Griffin
