TCWP has been generously housed out of Twinsburg City Hall for several years now. We have added two new employees and were in need of a larger space. We are incredibly grateful to move to another City owned building, affectionately known to us as
"The House Behind City Hall".
If you have time this weekend to help us paint the new space, please
email Kate Chapel ASAP!
Our address is not changing! Any mail can still be directed to PO Box 444, Twinsburg, OH 44087.
A tremendous THANK YOU to
Dominion Energy Virginia
, and their Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation, for helping us plant plenty of native plants and trees at our new office location! The before and after pictures below only show a fraction of the hard work these volunteers helped us with
last week for their "Energizing Our Communities Volunteer Day".
These native plants and trees will help slow and absorb stormwater and runoff from the house, and in return help Tinker's Creek which flows right behind it.
Native plants are a great and simple addition for stormwater management because they have deeper and more extensive root systems than non-natives plants! This prevents erosion and provides more filtration, and they also require little to no fertilizer or chemical applicants! Both of which can harm stream ecosystems, so they also help improve water quality
And ANOTHER thank you to Robinson Lawn & Garden Center for providing all of these beautiful native plants and trees... along with all of the tools, equipment, soil, and mulch!
Robinson Lawn & Garden Center is one of our valued business members! Come check out the plantings at our new offices, and if you see anything you like, Robinson can provide you plant material for your own home!
