Important information AFTER you are vaccinated

If you and a small group of friends are all fully vaccinated, congratulations! You can relax precautions among one another but if you’re with unvaccinated people your risks are smaller, but not zero. Your chance of getting sick is significantly reduced (by about 95 percent), and your risk of infecting others is likely also much lower. (That exact statistic is still unknown, but is probably less than 95 percent.) Your tolerance for these risks might depend on whether the unvaccinated people you’re with are at risk for COVID-19 because of other reasons.

So, keep wearing masks in public and keeping a distance from others. The strangers around you in a grocery store have no way of knowing whether you’re vaccinated. Wearing a mask is smart and signals that you take the virus seriously and believe that we’re in this together
Township COVID-19 Mobile Test Site Opens March 3
The Township is working with QDX Pathologies Labs, based in Cranford, and Immediate Care to operate a COVID-19 test site for Cranford residents. The mobile site is located in the Library parking lot and will operate by appointment Wednesday 1 to 7 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 3 pm.
Testing remains important in stopping the spread of the virus. Thanks to Fire Chief Dan Czeh and Police Chief Ryan Greco for spearheading this project. Chief Czeh said "QDX has been offering Cranford first responders COVID tests for some time and the process has been outstanding in giving our first responders peace of mind after responding to COVID emergency calls."
We are happy to offer convenient, reliable and safe testing for our residents, especially as people begin to engage in activities, sports, and even travel plans. There is no out-of-pocket costs and the company will submit directly to insurance companies for payment.
Look for this postcard in the mail with more information.
