Message from the Mayor

In the past two weeks, Cranford residents and visitors participated in two very important and moving ceremonies: Vigil for Ukraine and Holocaust Day of Remembrance. On behalf of the Township, thank you to the Cranford Clergy Council and Cranford Interfaith Human Relations Committee for organizing these events to remind us of the importance of being united and vocal about bigotry, racism, anti-Semitism and hatred that fuels wars and atrocities against human beings.
There were several speakers at both ceremonies but our youngest residents made powerful statements through their words, poems, videos, dance and song. Please take some time to view the events and see the students from Hillside Avenue and Orange Avenue Schools, St. Michael’s School and Cranford High School.
Thank you CHS Madrigals, CHS students Lara Marques, Jude Berglas, Catherine Anton, Nathaniel Fossella, Gavin Avella, Grace Kallensee, Theresa Hickey, Elaina Michetti and Lindsey Stevens; St. Michael’s Students Angela Navroski and Connor Johnson; HAS student Zornitsa Roussenv and OAS students Addison Bornstein and Kendall Toddings.
Exhibition Artists and Contributors from CHS: Kelly Anderson, Kori Burns, Matthew Bush, Anne Cartnick, Nicole DeAngelis, Isabella DeStefano, Declan Fows, Vincent Gotts, Brandon Haiser, Anfelina Keating, Bailey Landsman, Arelys Lazo, Petra McTeirnan, Kimberly O’Donnell, Ryan Paneri, Emily Queenan, Kelsy Quinones, Ava Thompson. Christopher Uglialoro form OAS and Samuel Huerta of HAS.
We are very proud of these students and thank their teachers for inspiring them.

Best,
Kathleen Miller Prunty

Almost every day, Cranford’s trained Emergency Medical Services professionals (EMTs) provide basic and advanced medical care, sometimes in serious emergency situations. We are fortunate to be served by Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) from our Cranford Fire Dept and Cranford First Aid Squad.
EMTs are certified health care professionals who respond to emergency situations, trained to stop external bleeding, manage respiratory issues, perform CPR and treat certain injuries and then transport patients to hospitals for further treatment.
Thank you to the women and men EMTs serving Cranford.
Registration for the Pool is Open!
Remember - the Centennial Avenue Pool will be opening this summer!
Cranford Pool is teaming up with Westfield Area YMCA on a camp at Centennial Pool for children entering grades 1-3. Please see the flyer below for more information.
