To help make our community's voice heard in the U.S. Congress and our State legislature, the Tunisian Community Center is partnering with the Arab American Institute's #YallaVote, a grassroots voter mobilization and education campaign. 

Contact us if you are interested in holding any on the following events in your neighborhood:
-Hosting a voter registration drive

-Participate in the National Voter Registration Day (September 27, 2016)
Tunisia's "Dark Regions"

This is a report of a November 2015 trip the Tunisia. It was filed by a team from an American NGO that had travelled to the marginalized regions of the country.

"...many worry that the promised transition has more or less been completed without changing much on the ground, while others cling to the upcoming local elections as a "last hope." The decentralization process required by Tunisia's constitution could open up a new pathway..."
