Arts News for February 16, 2017
Green Mountain Performing Arts was the recipient of an FY2017 Arts Impact Grant.
Ready, Set, Grants!

Arts Council funding supports artists, arts organizations, and cultural centers. From helping a musician produce a new work to improving a town hall heating system, Council grants expand opportunities for people to create and participate in the arts.

Grant Seeker Workshops are scheduled over the next few weeks. These workshops include an overview of program guidelines. They may also include group discussion, written exercises, or a mock panel activity. Participants will have help deciding which of the Council's grant programs best meet their needs and will learn how to construct a competitive grant application.

Success Story From Vermont Arts Exchange

As we look forward to a new round of grant applications, we also reflect on past success. The Vermont Arts Exchange received an Arts Partnership Grant, a program that helps arts organizations address the needs of their own communities.
