Flags for Roselle: 2024 Subscriptions Now Open

Flags for Roselle is a community display of patriotism in which Green Roselle, Lake Park High School, Roselle American Legion Post 1084, Boy & Girl Scouts of Roselle, Roselle Lions Club, and Roselle History Museum play a major role.

On five patriotic days throughout the year, volunteers install 3 ft. x 5 ft. U.S.

flags in the front yards or business lots of subscribers throughout the Village, then

return at dusk to remove them. All flags with poles are assembled by FFR

volunteers, with the cost of materials covered by annual subscription fees. Any

extra proceeds are granted back to community organizations. In 2018, the program

officially became incorporated into its own non-profit organization, Flags for

Roselle NFP. In 2019, FFR received the Governor's Hometown Award for

excellence through volunteerism. The program continues to expand patriotism,

community collaboration and support.

A minimum subscription of $50 covers the five installations in 2024: Memorial

Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, Patriot Day, and Veterans Day. Any amount

over the minimum that you’d like to donate would be greatly appreciated. Flags for

Roselle is a 501(c)(3) corporation, so your contribution may be fully tax

deductible. Visit the Flags for Roselle website to learn more and subscribe.
