Open Burning During COVID-19 Threat-

While the Village of Wadsworth does permit the open burning of leaves and other landscape waste (that originates upon one's own property),  people with underlying  respiratory issues are more likely to develop serious complications if they contract
COVID-19, and smoke exposure can make it worse. Even for people who do not have  underlying respiratory issues, smoke exposure can cause worsening symptoms of  COVID-19.  Do your part to protect your family and your neighbors:  Please bag, mulch or compost this spring-don't burn!

Face Covering Order Now in Effect-

As of May 1st, any individual who is over age two and able to medically tolerate a face covering (a mask or other face-covering) is required to cover their nose and mouth with a face covering when they are in a public place and unable to maintain a six-foot social distance.

Face coverings are required in public indoor spaces such as stores.

Please click HERE for more guidance on the use of cloth face coverings from the CDC.
