The Village of Wadsworth will host its annual Winter Bonfire, after the holidays, on Saturday, January 18, 2020, starting at 5:30 p.m., in Wadsworth Community Park, around the Village Hall and baseball field.   Since this is a family-oriented event, please feel free to invite your relatives, friends, and neighbors.

In order to make this a BIG bonfire, we need to have a good supply of seasonal Christmas trees.  Accordingly, you can either drop off your trees or ask Village staff to pick them up at your homes or business locations.

Between December 26, 2019 and January 15, 2020, you can drop off your trees by the Village Hall, near the "Tree Drop" sign next to the parking lot closest to the Village Hall.  In addition, Village staff can come by your locations and pick up your trees during the same time period.  If you wish for Village staff to pick up and to transport your trees to the bonfire area, then please send an email to info@villageofwadsworth.org or call the Village Hall at 847-336-7771 to make arrangements for tree pick-ups.

Please ensure that your trees are free from any lights, ornaments, garlands and other "treasures." 

Note again that, for bonfire purposes, only real trees will be picked up and/or burned.

Food and hot chocolate will again be provided by Eddie Bauer Catering.

If there is snow on the ground, then the Village's sled hill will be open.
