Panel Discussion: Advocating for Women & Health
Each year we host a panel discussion on the morning of the Celebrate Women Luncheon, which dives deeper into one of the topics discussed by our keynote speaker. This year, our panel discussion will explore “Advocating for Women & Health.” We have an outstanding moderator and group of panelists who will share their expertise on this topic.
These individuals will discuss a variety of topics, including how to navigate the patient/doctor relationship for the best outcomes, current research in women’s health, preventative measures to protect women’s health, and local community resources available for women going through health struggles.
Our panel discussion will feature:
- Moderator: Beth Chisholm, Retired, Door County Health & Human Services
- Panelist: Deb Davis, Board Member, Sue Baldwin Fund
- Panelist: Dr. Elizabeth Gaida, Obstetrics and Gynecology & Chief of Surgery and Anesthesia, Door County Medical Center
- Panelist: Tess Johnson, Nutrition Coach, Door County YMCA
New this year, the panel will meet at both a new time and a new location. The panel will begin at 9:30 a.m. and will be held at MUSE Sturgeon Bay, 330 Jefferson Street.
There will be plenty of time to transition from the panel discussion to the luncheon at Stone Harbor.
The panel discussion is free and open to the public; registration is requested. We hope you can join us!
