The Power and Support of an Online Community During the Bone Marrow Transplant Journey

This month's telephone educational program will focus on the power of reputable online patient communities. Breaking across geographic and cultural barriers, online patient communities enable those living with a disease to connect with others around the world. Our professional speaker is Shona Lovie, MPH, Online Community Engagement Manager of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) .  Our patient speaker is Cynthia Chmielewski, a Multiple Myeloma patient, also known as Myeloma Teacher and a savvy user of online resources, who will share her success, ideas and tips.
