2021 Research Grants

Thanks to donors, the Research Grant Program provides financial support to Canadian researchers with critical funds that help to propel their research forward into the future.


Supporting brain tumour research in Canada allows everyone affected better understand this disease and move closer to finding new treatments, improve current treatments, and enhance the quality of life for brain tumour patients.


The deadline to apply is June 18, 2021.

Feature Grants

Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada's Feature Grants provide up to $50,000 toward research related to pediatric brain tumours. Applications can be from multidisciplinary teams or individual investigators. Multidisciplinary collaborations are encouraged.


The deadline to apply is July 16, 2021.

Fellowships

Fellowships are awarded on a bi-annual basis and offer funds to cover salary and lab expenses for two years. Brain Tumour Research Fellowships enable young clinicians and scientists to enter the field of brain tumour research and accelerate studies leading to a cure for brain tumours.


The deadline to apply is July 16, 2021.

Join us Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 11am EST for our 2021 Virtual Brain Tumour Research Symposium and Student Competition. This year’s event will feature presentations focused on glioblastoma treatment, as well as the Pam and Rolando Del Maestro Undergraduate Student Research Competition.
