Did You Know...
...that Katja Pantzar, author of The Finnish Way, has written another book? Everyday Sisu:
Tapping into Finnish Fortitude for a Happier, More Resilient Life is "a deep-dive into sisu, featuring insights from Finnish experts in mental health, wellness, sustainability, and social justice.
"It’s an inspiring guide for overcoming what you thought you couldn’t—and finding hope and tools to create a brighter way forward, whether that’s connecting with nature, going for a winter swim, or strengthening community."

Greetings
In our March e-news we introduced the newest organization to affiliate with Finlandia Foundation National, the Astoria Chapter in Astoria, Oregon.
We are thrilled to welcome new members to FFN, both groups and individuals. Yes, we do have members who do not live near a chapter, or just prefer to join on their own to be a part of the largest, non-profit organization dedicated to supporting Finnish culture in the U.S.
More chapter fun facts:
Each of our chapters is an independent organization, united through FFN and connected by a common appreciation of Finnish culture, heritage and contemporary Finland.
