A Note from Chuck Benfield

We have some incredibly positive things that continue to happen in our church. We continue to be blessed with excellent preaching. The wonderful news is that Rev. Roy Dobyns, Jr., has agreed to be our interim pastor. This is truly an answer to many prayers.

I hope you can also notice how wonderful our music ministry has been lately. Edward Bland is closing this period of being our interim music director, and all I can say is that we have truly been blessed by his leadership and musical ability. He has a passion for musical excellence and it is contagious. Soon we will have Allie McNeely joining us as Director of Music to continue that journey. We still have a lot of available chairs in the choir loft, so come and join in the fun.

Our attendance in worship is on an upward arc. And we continue to be blessed with visitors on a weekly basis. Let's continue to pray for one another and our church. Bright days are ahead.

All are invited to join our Guatemalan friends as we watch "THE CHOSEN" - a DVD miniseries about the life of Christ in Spanish with English subtitles. John Whalley is the facilitator and the class meets on the second floor of the Kistler House Sunday mornings at 9:45.

As we prepare for the new school year, our focus this August is on monetary donations to help us restock and meet the needs of the students and families we serve.

2. Click your name in the upper right corner and select My Profile.
3. Click the camera icon next to your name and upload a clear, friendly photo.
