Time is Running Out for the NFIP
Congress needs to act immediately to pass legislation to reauthorize the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) before its
July 31 deadline.
It is essential that the program is reauthorized before the deadline or sales of homes across the nation will face delays or cancellations. We need Congress to understand that the reauthorization of the NFIP is an urgent priority for home builders, homeowners, and their local communities.
Contact your representatives now and urge them to reauthorize the National Flood Insurance Program.

Remodeling Confidence Increases Despite Rising Costs
July 19, 2018
The National Association of Home Builders' (NAHB) Remodeling Market Index (RMI) posted a reading of 58 in the second quarter of 2018, up one point from the previous quarter. The RMI has been consistently above 50-indicating that more remodelers report market activity is higher compared to the prior quarter than report it is lower-since the second quarter of 2013. The overall RMI averages ratings of current remodeling activity with indicators of future remodeling activity.
