A Big Thank You!
Robert Low
An enormous thank you goes out to Robert Low! Bob will be retiring May 3rd, 2019. Matcom would like to say congratulations and thank you. For those that may not know, Bob has been with the Matcom family for 20 years! He will be greatly missed throughout the company.

Matcom would like to thank Bob for his dedicated and committed service within the Matcom organization. His hard work over the years and his vast expertise will be greatly missed. Matcom wishes him all the best in retirement.

If you see Bob in the next few days please give him a big thank you for everything he has done for Matcom.

A Look Back!
Bombardier - Moving History
Matcom has recently finished up a job at Bombardier! Matcom was asked to help disassemble two planes and load one onto a trailer to be shipped to a private museum. It was a fantastic job for Matcom and everyone involved. The crew was able to successfully and safely move some Canadian history. Thanks goes out to Dan, Bobby, Rob and John as shown above!

The Lego Game!
Office Staff! The new game will begin starting May 1st!

Alex's Lego person is wanted! Where oh where is he hiding? He is hiding somewhere in the Matcom building... If you find him and return him to Alex McCleave, you win a brand new office chair! Clues will be sent out randomly to try and help you track down Alex's Lego piece. Good luck and have fun!

The contest begins May 1st and will end May 27th.

Matcom - Lift & Move
The count down begins! Matcom will be hosting Lift & Move! There is a link posed below with more details! If you have someone in your family or a friend that you would like to register for the event please register them below. This is a massive event for the trades industry and for Matcom. This is the first time in Lift & Move's history that they are travelling north of the U.S border and we are lucky enough to be hosting.

Game of Thrones Fan Fabricates 'Iron Throne'
Michael Hayes, a 32-year-old welding student in Louisville, worked with welders at the Knight Welding School to build a life-size version of the throne in the hit HBO show. Click below to watch the creation and hear their story.

The throne weighs 200 pounds, has more than 300 swords welded on and cost more than $7,000 to make.

Anthony Williams, an instructor at the Knight School, told WLKY building the throne took 110 hours and more than two months.
