Get ready for some 'spooktacular' fun! Join us for the annual Trick-or-Treat Trail on Saturday, October 26 from 4-8 p.m. at Anson Acres Park (4671 Anson Blvd, Whitestown).

  • Trick-or-treating with local businesses
  • Riding on a hayride
  • Roasting s'mores over a bonfire (while supplies last)

HALLOWEEN TRICK-OR-TREAT HOURS

On Thursday, October 31 Whitestown Halloween trick-or-treating hours are from 6-9 p.m.


Put on your best costumes and grab your candy bags for an evening of trick-or-treating! Don’t forget to stay safe and have fun!

STORYTIME AT THE LIBRARY

Join the Whitestown Fire Department at Hussey-Mayfield Public Library for Story Time from 10-10:45 a.m. on Friday, November 1. Bring your kids as local firefighters read a children's book, participate in a craft, and share their roles in the community.

HERE'S WHAT'S HAPPENING

FIRE OPS 101 EXPERIENCE

On September 14, Town Manager Katie Barr, Assistant Town Manager/Director of Parks Dominic Cornett, and Councilwoman Cheryl Hancock suited up in firefighter gear for Fire Ops 101! From ladder climbing to search and rescue and even the flashover chamber, they gained valuable insights into the work of our Whitestown Fire Department.

BOONE LOVE'S BOONE DONATIONS

With winter approaching we’re partnering with Discover Boone County to support the community of Boone, North Carolina who was recently affected by hurricanes. We’re collecting essential winter items for those impacted by the recent hurricanes and items can be dropped off at the Whitestown Municipal Complex (6210 Veterans Drive, Whitestown).


Items being collected (sizes from infant to adult 5X):


  • Hats
  • Gloves
  • Scarves
  • Socks
  • Blankets
  • Sleeping Bags

JACKSON RUN PARK ARTISTIC SHADE STRUCTURE

Call to Artists: Boone County's *180 in Color* initiative is seeking artists to create a unique, nature-inspired shade structure for Jackson Run Park in Whitestown (2816 Grassy Branch Drive).


The goal is to create a functional yet visually captivating addition, elevating the park’s aesthetic and user experience.


This project is funded by a READI 1.0 grant, blending federal, state, and local funding. Artists are encouraged to apply by October 30, 2024, for the opportunity to contribute to this exciting community enhancement.
