Movie Night is returning! Join us for a fantastic evening of family fun on Friday, September 6 at the Little League Central Region Complex! Bring your blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy a movie under the stars. The movie begins at dark (approx. 8:30 p.m.).

Days can be "ruff," but Hops & Hounds can make it "paw-sitively" better! Join the fun on Thursday, September 12 by bringing your pups and cooling down with an adult beverage while socializing with other dog lovers. The event is free to attend!


The Humane Society Boone County will be in attendance with adorable rescues looking for their forever homes.

We had the privilege of spreading some school spirit as we welcomed students back to the classroom! From handing out high-fives to sharing smiles, our team was thrilled to kick off the new school year with enthusiasm and joy.

DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS RECOGNITION

At the August 14 Town Council meeting, Town Manager Katie Barr recognized the Streets Department.


Town Manager Barr said, “From clearing snow during a winter storm, fixing a pothole, or ensuring our streets are cleaned and maintained; you are always there. Your commitment to excellence and service is a testament to your professionalism and love for our Whitestown community. Thank you for all that you do!"

INDIANA DIAPER BANK HONORED AT TOWN COUNCIL MEETING

During the town council meeting held last night, State Representative Becky Cash presented Ashley Burns CEO of Indiana Diaper Bank the Outstanding Hoosier Award.


Ashley and her team provide diapers to local pantries and distribution centers that serve families in need of diapers. Thank you to the Indiana Diaper Bank for everything you do!

ROAD RESURFACING


Using the Community Crossings Grant from INDOT, Midwest Paving will continue road resurfacing and related work. Weather permitting, all work is expected to be completed by the end of September 2024. There will be lane restrictions, but roads can be accessed throughout the projects. Below is a list of streets that'll be paved this year.


  • Main Street from approx. 230 feet South of E 230 S to E 200 S
  • E 225 S from Main St to S 675 E
  • E 230 S from Main St to S 675 E
  • S 675 E from E 230 S to E 225 S
  • Indigo Blvd from Albert S White Dr to Circle Dr
