GMP EXTENDS HEAT PUMP REBATES
Green Mountain Power has extended the deadline on their heat pump rebate program to August 31st, 2021. Rebates are available for as much as $1,000, so if you are a GMP customer and are thinking about installing a heat pump, contact us today to get a free estimate and place your order.

WELCOME BACK!
We are happy to report that our Colchester office is now open to walk in visitors for the first time since March of 2020.

For more than a year, the Energy Co-op office staff has been largely working remotely. A big thanks to Amanda, Lisa, Joe and Paul who have met the challenge of continuing to answer your calls, keep your account billing up to date and dispatch deliveries under difficult circumstances. Also a nod to our General Manager, Brian, for keeping things running smoothly.
WHAT DOES "NET ZERO" MEAN?
Net Zero refers to individuals and businesses who combine energy efficiency and renewable energy generation to consume only as much energy as they produce or offset over a specified time period.

It's always an ambitious goal, but one that many individual and businesses are embracing as a way to fight climate change and reduce carbon emissions.

HOW TO GET OFF THE HEATING OIL PRICE ROLLERCOASTER
Our heating oil Pre-Buy program is now available for our members.
We will kick off this year's Price Protection, EZPay and Price Cap programs in early July and will notify you via e-mail as soon as the sign up registration goes "live".

IS PRE-BUYING YOUR HEATING OIL RIGHT FOR YOU?
One of the biggest benefits of being an Energy Co-op member is having the option to pre-buy your fuel oil for the upcoming winter. A pre-buy plan is a contract to purchase a set amount of heating oil upfront for the upcoming winter period when the price per gallon for heating oil tends to be lower than at any other time of year.

Eddie joined the Co-op in 2021 as a weatherization Technician and has a solid background in the Weatherization trade as well as a training background. He spends his free time playing golf, foraging and walking in the woods, kayaking, and camping with his fiancée and their two golden retrievers.
