Breast Health Matters: Prevention, Screening, and Support

At SVCHC, we are committed to helping patients take charge of their health. Our providers offer preventive care, health education, and referrals for mammograms and other recommended screening services. We can also help connect eligible patients with resources and programs that support access to care.

Chief Operating Officer

"Health access and strong outcomes are at the heart of everything we do. Since its founding, Sonoma Valley Community Health Center has worked to make high-quality healthcare accessible to everyone, regardless of income, insurance status, language, or background. Through bilingual staff, interpretation services, enrollment assistance, and a wide range of integrated health services, we help patients overcome obstacles that can stand in the way of good health. We know that quality care means more than treating illness. It means meeting people where they are, listening to their needs, and connecting them with the support they need to thrive. During National Healthcare Quality Week, we celebrate our dedicated team members who make this work possible and reaffirm our commitment to building a healthier, stronger, and more inclusive Sonoma Valley for all."

Helping Children Thrive: Understanding ADHD and the Power of Early Support

Recognizing the signs, strengthening support, and empowering children to reach their full potential.

At SVCHC, we believe that every child should have the support and resources needed to succeed. ADHD can affect children in different ways, making early understanding and intervention especially important. This month, we are raising awareness about ADHD and the positive impact that family-centered care can have on a child's well-being. Read on as Amy Huddle, LCSW, shares information about common symptoms, the value of early evaluation, and how our Behavioral Health team helps children and families navigate challenges with confidence and support.

The Resources You Need. The People Who Care.

At the Health Center, we know that staying healthy takes more than a doctor's appointment. That's why we connect you with the resources and services you need — from health, food assistance, transportation and more. We see what it takes to thrive in Sonoma Valley. And we will always be here.
