The Feds Spent $22 Million Researching Invisibility Cloaks, UFOs, and a Tunnel Through the Moon
However wonderful it is to imagine a world in which these things are possible, the government shouldn’t be shelling out millions to entertain speculation.
Documents acquired by Vice via a public records request have revealed details about a secretive government program that was researching highly speculative and often outlandish theories and technologies, including the development of invisibility cloaks and the feasibility of building a tunnel through the moon using nuclear explosions.
Those documents (which are available here) reveal insights into the research conducted by the Advanced Aerospace Weapons System Application Program (AAWSAP), a program that often overlapped with the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP). Both were funded by the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), a division of the Department of Defense (DOD). AAWSAP and AATIP research focused on the potential use of far-term technologies in defense and military settings.
While AATIP "was the name of the overall program," AAWSAP "was the name of the contract that DIA awarded for the production of technical reports," according to a DIA spokesperson.

Huge Marriage-Related Immigration Fraud Ring Exposed by the Government
The feds have broken up a massive, marriage-related immigration fraud ring, which had these features:
- It arranged for some 400 phony marriages between bribed U.S. citizens and aliens wanting green cards:
- It took in about $8 million in the process;
- It had a nationality base, as do many of these rings; six of the 11 co-conspirators were identified as Philippines nationals;
- It was bi-coastal (California and Massachusetts); and
- It was highly creative in the manner in which it treated bribed citizens when they failed to play their agreed-upon roles as co-conspirators; some citizen spouses once bribed fail to stay bribed long enough for the production of a green card.
Unfortunately, and again this is a pattern, those indicted did not include any of the bribed citizens or the bribing aliens, just the middlemen. Whether any of the alien bribers will be deported cannot be known at this time. Deportations are handled by the Department of Homeland Security; criminal charges, as in this case, are the work of the Justice Department.

Woke county judge invites Disney to relocate to Texas
A county judge in Texas went rogue and sent a letter to the Walt Disney Company inviting the corporation to relocate to Texas. The invitation is in response to Governor DeSantis signing a bill abolishing the self-governing Reedy Creek Improvement District. The judge embraces the transformation of Disney as a family-friendly entertainment company into a woke corporation focusing on the politics of the day.
Fort Bend County Judge K.P. George sent a letter to Disney CEO Bob Chapek to take advantage of DeSantis abolishing Disney’s 55 year old tax and land privileges which were negotiated by Walt Disney. The agreement, known as the Reedy Creek Improvement District Act, went into effect in 1967 just months after Disney’s death.
The corporation received permission to govern its own 25,000 acre theme park.
The corporation got sideways with DeSantis and other Republican lawmakers, as well as conservatives around the country, when it jumped into opposing a parental rights bill which bans classroom discussion on gender and sexuality for very young children ages 5 to 7.

White House’s “Washington Crossing the Delaware” To Be Auctioned Off
The famous 'Washington Crossing the Delaware' painting, which hung in the White House from the 1970s to 2014, is coming up for auction next month, when it is estimated to fetch about $20million
The 1851 oil painting is one of three versions painted by Emanuel Leutze of the man who was to be the first U.S. president leading troops during a key moment of the American revolution. Only two survive
The first version was destroyed during a World War Two air raid in Germany, said American Art specialist Paige Kestenman at Christie's New York
The painting up for sale on May 12 is smaller - about 3 feet-by-6 feet. It had hung for decades in the White House, mainly in the West Wing reception room.
The work depicts George Washington leading soldiers across the Delaware River to surprise the infantry hiding on the other side on Christmas Night, 1776, Kestenman said.

The founding of America was based on the Puritans’ belief that they were the new chosen people of God. For a time, the Puritans believed God had selected England as the country in which the Reformation would reach its consummation. They expected that the Established Church of England would someday be broken up and reorganized into independent, covenanted congregations.

Just when their cause seemed hopeless, the hand of God stretched forth and led the most select of His saints out of Egypt to the New Jerusalem to build a “City upon a Hill” for all humanity to see. In route to New England, in 1630, John Winthrop stood on the deck of the Arbella and delivered a sermon on the Puritans’ historic destiny: “We shall be as a City upon a Hill, the eyes of all people are upon us; so that if we shall deal falsely with our God in this work we have undertaken and so cause Him to withdraw His present help from us, we shall be made a story and a by-word through the world.”....

That Once There Was. . .
and Is a Camelot
Is it true? That’s the thrilling question in any story about the legends of yore. Stories in which characters discover that there is fire behind the smoke of legends typically come in two varieties. In one kind, people from our time are transported back to the days of the legend.
Mark Twain’s A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court is an example. In the other, the legends are shown to be true because some figure involved in them is depicted as either still alive or traveling forward in time to our world. C. S. Lewis’s That Hideous Strength is an example of the latter. Because of the peril involved in that story, Merlin is awakened!
In general, I like the first kind better. Travel to the past has always been more attractive to me as an idea because, along with the legend, one gets that whole disappeared world. But the second one has its pleasures, among them the chill of feeling that we have not been born too late for the legend. The world of magic and adventure continues!.....

The Trance of Trans Education
Many Americans do seem in a trance these past few years, hypnotized by the politically correct into acceptance of transgender transitions among the very young.
Recently, my 12-year-old grandson came home from school and asked his mother, “Mom, what’s a trance?”
She paused before asking, “Do you mean trance or trans?”
“Trance.”
“Well, a trance is when you fall under some sort of spell. Like when someone hypnotizes you.”
He looked a little stunned, then said indignantly, “That’s not what my friends said!”
I never heard exactly what his friends said, other than that a boy can become a girl. Apparently, the sexual agenda of our schools the last few years had passed right over this youngster’s head.
After my daughter reported this conversation to me, it struck me that several lessons might be drawn from my grandson’s encounter with the mess our society is making of sex.
First is his use of “trance.” That he confused the words trance and trans struck me as both hilariously funny and insightful. Many Americans do seem in a trance these past few years, hypnotized by the politically correct into acceptance of transgender transitions among the very young, the substitution of pronouns—like “them” or “they” for “he,” “she,” “him,” or “her,”—and the bending of all sexual traditions and taboos of the last three millennia.
Then there’s the issue of my grandson’s innocence. He’s an adolescent with one foot on the platform of childhood and one foot on the train that will carry him to adulthood. So who should be his primary guide on that journey: the state, or his parents? Should teachers and schools serve as the transmitters of sexual knowledge, or should we follow the time-honored custom of allowing parents to teach him the facts of life, leaving to the state traditional academic subjects, like math, English, and history?
To me, the answer seems clear as glass. In the classroom of life, which includes an understanding of sex, parents should be the primary educators of their children. Period.
We might ask, then, how our elementary and secondary schools have become so heavily involved in teaching not only the biological facts of life but also sex and gender theory to children under 18-years-old. Here again the answer to that question is apparent. Several decades ago, the state got its foot in the door of sex ed when we were told that public schools needed to teach birth control because of rising teenage pregnancies. Then along came AIDS, and we were told that schools must offer instruction in safe sex.
And today? Here we are, with many of our teachers indoctrinating students, some of them in elementary school, with amoral ideas about various sexual practices, choices, and lifestyles.

Vladimir Putin introduces new Russian army uniforms
As Russia expands military conscription in an attempt to regain the initiative in Ukraine, the army has introduced new uniforms to raise morale amongst troops.
Pictures on Russian state media showed Putin inspecting a recent batch of recruits modelling the new uniforms, which were described as best supporting the operational reality of the modern Russian soldier.
At the same time, the army is to be restructured from current Battalion Tactical Group structure into what will now be called ‘Away Teams’, to better represent the situation on the ground.
Presenters on Russian TV were full of praise for the new uniforms, with anchorman Simonov Williamsovitch describing the new design as ‘genius, which will strike fear into the hearts of our enemies’.
“Made of a sturdy, tissue-thin nylon and decorated in the rich, red of the blood of the Russian people, our new uniforms are perfection itself,” he said, going on to praise Putin whilst an angry-looking man in a black suit hovered just off camera. ...

BREAKING: Elon Musk opens salt mine sourced only from liberal tears following Twitter acquisition
AUSTIN—Tesla CEO Elon Musk is venturing into new businesses. He is now selling salt sourced solely from liberal tears following the Twitter board’s agreement to sell the social media company to Musk.
Sources say that Musk is interested in making Twitter a free-speech platform but the natural resource of salt was the main reason for thee acquisition.
“With inflation and supply chain issues causing havoc on production costs, so the amount that Musk will save on salt by buying Twitter and therefore producing trillions of metric tons of liberal tear salt will be worth it,” tech expert Phil Donahue said.
Musk, who owns a more than 9% stake in Twitter, has lined up a $46.5bn financing package for his bid, according to a regulatory filing.
A hostile takeover attempt by Mr Musk, who is the world’s richest person, would put “further pressure on the board to stop acting like boot-licking sycophants,” Donahue added.

The White House has announced a new program to transition Marine and Army battle tank battalions to environmentally friendly electric battle tanks by 2024 in a bid to shore up President* Biden’s Environmental™ and Climate Change™ credentials.
In a release from the White House communications department it was stated: “War doesn’t have to be an environmental catastrophe. We can fight wars and Climate Change™ in an Environmentally Sensitive™ manner that doesn’t put unnecessary stress on local populations’ energy needs. We reached out to American vehicle manufacturers to come up with a design by the end of this year and we’re hoping to have production of the battle Etank™ to begin in January. We expect that these battle Etanks™ will get close to 300 miles to the battery, which is close to the range of the Climate Destroying™ fossil fuel battle tanks that we have in service today. We're also looking into the possibility of Environmentally Friendly™ nuclear weapons systems. This is in keeping with our goal to have all government vehicles to be EVs by 2030.”
President* Biden made an Earth Day statement:
One of the things I found out as President of the United States, I get to spend a lot of that money," Biden said. "We’re going to start the process where every vehicle in the United States military, every vehicle, is going to be climate-friendly — every vehicle — I mean it.
There has been no definitive proposals from the car manufacturers so far, though Elon Musk did tweet that he may launch an Etank™ into space, just for the hell of it.

Only the Republicans and the rest of the right-wingers can be conspiracy theoreticians. Just like a person of color can never be racist, a progressive person can never be a proponent of conspiracy theories. No matter what gobbledygook he makes up to accuse the other side, it becomes a simple and undeniable truth, just like Peter Booty-Judge said.
Likewise, any accusations coming from the other side, no matter how well-documented, automatically become conspiracy theories.
Of course, the class enemy may claim that it's easier to simply build shorter buses for minority students, but that would be - correct! - that would be a conspiracy theory. It's clear as day that it's better to blow up and rebuild hundreds of overpasses in New York State with the hands of the union workers whose children will pay this bill when they grow up.
