Sunnyvale Council Member Holds Place in History

The Town of Sunnyvale is proud of the impact the members of our community and leadership make.

We recently discovered that Town Council member Dr. George Woodrow, Jr. holds a special place in sports history. He was the first Black quarterback to play at the Texas junior college level while at Kilgore College.

CBS-19 in Tyler, Texas, recently shared the story.

Saving Water = Saving Money

Remember, your annual wastewater rates are based on your water consumption during the months of December, January and February, which can save you about $200 each year.

Reducing indoor and outdoor water use this winter will save you money all year round.

For water conservation tips, visit the Water Resources page on the Town's website.
