Get to Know Grey!

Learn more about this pet and others on our Petfinder page

October is Adopt a Shelter Dog Month, and we'll be highlighting one of our best pups that is currently available!

Grey is a two-year-old female German Shepherd: Hi! I'm Grey. Every day is a new adventure for me here, filled with fun and learning. I love playing with my toys and solving puzzles - they say I'm quite the smart cookie! I'm always ready to explore, sniffing around every corner with my curious nose. When I'm not playing, I enjoy making new friends. I'm very friendly and love cuddles from anyone willing to give them. If you're looking for a brave, energetic companion to share in your life's adventures, I'm your pup! Let's make every day exciting together. Call to set up a "Meet and Greet" appointment.

We would love for you to share this with others and bring awareness to the Sunnyvale Animal Shelter's animals and services. If your family is ready to add a member, we currently have many adoptable cats in our shelter looking for a new place to call home. Learn more by visiting our Petfinder page or calling (214) 862-4525.

Sunnyvale Plan Process Continues

The Town of Sunnyvale is working to update the Town’s comprehensive plan and is grateful for the public participation so far.

The Imagine Sunnyvale Comprehensive Plan will serve as the Town’s official guide for land use and development for the next 20 years. When completed, the Imagine Sunnyvale Comprehensive Plan will be the product of the community, with a vision and recommendations guided by valuable input from residents, business owners, community leaders, and other stakeholders.

At least 440 people have participated in the online survey, and almost 115 have joined us for in-person feedback. A more detailed summary of the public feedback will be presented to the Town Council and made available on the project website soon, outlining trends and ideas learned through the engagement activities.

The next step will be a Visioning Workshop, scheduled for Wednesday evening, Jan. 21, 2026. Details will be posted to the project website and other Town informational channels soon. This event will be open to all residents, businesses, and stakeholders of the Sunnyvale community. We look forward to hearing from you.

Residents can track the project's progress through the project website over the next year to stay informed. To learn more about the Comprehensive Plan public input process, explore the website or contact the Town of Sunnyvale Planning and Development Department at AskPlanning@townofsunnyvale.org or 972-203-4188.
