Dear SJA Community,
Last Thursday evening we had one of the most successful Open House nights in memory. I was incredibly impressed with our student ambassadors as they led tours all evening for prospective families. The faculty and coaches willingly gave of their time to be here late into the night in order to promote the Academy. It was amazing to see the number of smiling faces and interested families walking the halls of our school with an eye on joining our community.
Thank you for your continued promotion of St. Joe on social media, in reviews and for sharing your great stories with friends. We want to continue growing the Academy and you play a big role in that process.
Coming up this weekend, we’ll be hosting the HSPT. The test is designed to give our academic staff a common, objective measure to compare with grades, recommendations and other standardized test scores as we make placement decisions for our incoming 9th graders. It’s also another opportunity for families to be here on campus to check it out. Please take a moment to share a post from our social media platforms with your followers.
A few additional notes
-Please check my email sent to you earlier today with some updates to the Diocesan quarantine policies related to covid positive cases and contact tracing.
-If you are interested in a spring sport, Softball, baseball, track, lacrosse and tennis are all getting started this week. If you hope to try out, please make sure your athletic paperwork is turned in.
- Speaking of sports, Tonight is senior night for our soccer programs. These are always emotional nights for athletes, coaches and families alike. I hope you’ll join us on campus or tune in live on the NFHS network.
-It’s cold today. As a reminder, students should only be wearing SJA outerwear distributed by a sport/club or purchased at Sports Corner.
-Cap and Gown photos for seniors will be taking place during lunches on Wednesday!
