System-Wide Efforts to Address Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)
As part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, we are committing to taking active steps to ensure that our organization is a place where everyone feels welcome and valued for who they are.

Dr. Kevin Tabb, BILH President & CEO, recently announced our system’s multi-year plan to address systemic racism, institutional bias and inequity outlined in BILH’s DEI Roadmap. This month, leaders across the system participated in anti-racism education programs to help launch us on a path forward, with the goal to offer these and additional educational opportunities more broadly across BILH and provide forums for reflection and discussion.

To propel our local efforts, Mary Williamson, VP of Development, was named AJH’s DEI champion. Mary is both knowledgeable and passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion, and will help us embed DEI in our everyday practices and coordinate our efforts with initiatives at the system level.
