OIF Foundation Nomination Deadline

The next election for the OIF Board of Directors will be held in February 2024. Nominations are open until Dec. 1, 2023, at 5 p.m. CST.

Qualified candidates must meet certain criteria, including:

• Have served as a District Foundation Representative
• Have at least 5 years of support of the OIF cause
• Have a recommendation by a previous Governor from the candidate's home District.

November 2023 Community Action Ideas

Nov. 19 is World Day for the Prevention of Child Abuse. Millions of children experience abuse or violence each year, and that has serious consequences for their health and well-being.

Optimist Clubs can partner with community groups, schools and advocacy groups to raise public awareness about child abuse, as well as post project photos, videos and callouts to social media using the hashtags #WorldDayforthePreventionofChildAbuse and #StopChildAbuse.
