"Faith That Feeds"
We believe that faith should feed and nurture our spirits.
We believe also that faith should lead us to feed people
in the many different ways they hunger,
both physically and spiritually.

Hybrid Sunday Worship

The Sixth Sunday of Easter

May 10, 2026

Service at 10:30 am

Jesus does not abandon his followers. Through the Holy Spirit, Jesus comes to abide with his disciples of every generation. As Pentecost draws near, we are reminded that the risen Christ dwells in us as the Spirit of truth. We receive this Spirit in baptism and pray that in our gathering around the Lord’s table the Spirit will transform us to be the body of the risen Christ in the world.

Ongoing - Book Discussion: Life After Doom - Wisdom & Courage for a World Falling Apart, Brian D. McLaren. Author and activist Brian D. McLaren has been writing at the intersection of religious faith and contemporary culture. In this book he engages with the catastrophic failure of both our religious and political leaders to address the dominant realities of our time: ecological overshoot, economic injustice, and the increasing likelihood of civilizational collapse. Life After Doom explores the complexity of hope, the necessity of grief, and the need for new ways of thinking, becoming, and belonging in turbulent times. It’s most helpful to read or listen to the book, but not absolutely necessary to participate.
