Introducing a New Award of Merit!

The SLA is pleased to announce the Early Career Librarian Award! This annual award of merit, for outstanding service to libraries, acknowledges those who have contributed to the library profession during the first five years of their career.

The Early Career Librarian Award is open to all and not restricted to professional librarians or SLA members.

Career & Student Awards Closing Soon

In addition to The Early Career Librarian Award, three other Career and Student awards, offered by the SLA, will be closing soon.

The Frances Morrison Award and the Honourary Life Member Award will be closing on February 1, 2025. The Mary Donaldson Award of Merit will be closing on March 1, 2025.
