What is wastewater averaging?
Use less water this winter and save on future bills! Wastewater averaging is how the City determines how much you will be charged for wastewater, or sewer, for the next year. Since there are no meters on the wastewater lines leaving your property, the City averages three winter billing months' water use to determine what your home or business will be billed. These are the months that usually have the lowest water use due to less outdoor watering.

Police launch online reporting, crime map
The Round Rock Police Department is making incident data more easily accessible and giving residents another avenue to report certain violations through its new Police to Citizen website.
Incidents such as theft, vandalism and other ordinance violations occurring in Round Rock’s jurisdiction can be reported online, and the site also has a map that allows residents to see the location and basic information about accidents, arrests and incidents.

Blue Santa helps more than 450 local families
The 42nd annual Operation Blue Santa made happy holidays possible for more than 450 Round Rock families and senior citizens last month. The event was made possible thanks to community donations. The Round Rock Police Department accepts donations for this program year round.
