Round Rock Operation Blue Santa and Williamson County Constable Pct. 1 are teaming up to host this free event, which will include a showing of “A Nightmare Before Christmas” as well as games, trunks, and a haunted house! Play for Fall FUNdraiser benefitting Play for All Park

The Play for All Park will be decked out with surprise attractions at every turn! Enjoy a spooky stroll on the Brushy Creek Trail after trick or treating through the Village Pod and speeding down the Screamin’ Speedway. Creep through the Cobweb Castle, enjoy a moonlight movie, be entertained by our talking pumpkins and more. Tickets must be purchased to attend this event.

Join Round Rock Parks and Recreation at our free Fall Fun Fest, featuring carnival games for toddlers and preschoolers, hayrides, refreshments and fun entertainment for all to enjoy. This year’s theme is “Princesses and Knights.” Guests are encouraged to bring a canned item to donate to the Round Rock Serving Center.

This family-centered Trunk or Treat event encourages active participation for children with various disabilities or limitations. Bring your trick or treat bags to see all of the cars decked out in Halloween and fall themes by local businesses and organizations! Costumes are encouraged.

Downtown Round Rock knows how to put on an event and Halloween is no exception!
Connect with your community and have fun with your family in a stress-free, scare-free environment where the treats are sweet and the activities are far from tricky! Families are welcome to trick or treat at Downtown Round Rock businesses during this free event.
Other highlights include:

- Free trick-or-treat bags for the first 1,000 attendees

Fall Music on Main features live bands on Wednesdays

There's still plenty of opportunity to get your groove on at the City of Round Rock's Music on Main series this fall! Join us in Downtown Round Rock for live music from 6 to 8 p.m. every Wednesday now through Nov. 13 on the
Prete Main Street Plaza stage
. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and the entire family. Check out the variety of dining options on Main Street, grab a bite from food vendors on-site or pack a picnic basket to enjoy the evening of fun and music!

Have you heard? Downtown's new art gallery is open for business at 221 E. Main St., adjacent to Prete Plaza!
Formerly known as ArtSpace, Downtowner Gallery is a gathering place that welcomes all to enjoy creativity and the arts. The space will host art exhibitions, educational opportunities and events throughout the year. Stop in to say hi and learn more about how arts and culture opportunities are growing in Round Rock!

Planned water rate increase canceled due to savings
|
In 2017, Round Rock City Council approved a three-year program of annual water rate increases that would take place in October of each year. This year, Council voted not to include a scheduled 3 percent increase in water rates in the new FY 19-20 budget due to savings achieved through lowering power costs, improving operations and lowering interest payments by refinancing debt.

Water conservation rebates are available for fall
|
The City of Round Rock offers rebates to direct City water customers (MUD customers not eligible) who are taking steps to conserve water. It's our way of saying thanks for doing your part to help protect the City’s water supply! Activities and items eligible for rebates include clothes washers, lawn aeration and compost, irrigation system checkups or upgrades and rainwater collection.

Touch a Truck provides a unique opportunity for children to explore vehicles of all types – public service, emergency, utility, construction, transportation, delivery and just plain cool – all in one place. Along with all of the vehicles, there will also be a Kids Fun Zone with various activities. Food and beverage vendors will also be on site.

Prescription Drug Take Back Day

Prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding your home of expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs. Bring your prescription medications for disposal, as well as over-the counter and pet medications. Needles, syringes, thermometers, IV bags, medical devices and personal care products will not be accepted. The service is free and anonymous – no questions asked.
