Round Rock Fire achieves top fire protection rating
|
Round Rock Fire Department has received the distinction of earning a Class 1 Public Protection Classification rating by the Insurance Services Office (ISO). The program measures and evaluates the effectiveness of fire mitigation services in communities throughout the country, with Class 1 representing the highest possible fire protection.

Poster contest promotes importance of water
|
Calling all creative minds! Grab your pencils, crayons, markers and paints and create a stunning poster for the City of Round Rock’s 2021 Imagine a Day Without Water Art Contest. The theme this year is "Imagine a Day WITH Water" to encourage participants to show how they use water every day or how they like to have fun with water. Submissions are due by 5 p.m. on Nov. 1.

Join us in a colorful and lively celebration of culture and history at Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead. This traditional Mesoamerican holiday honors both death and the cycle of life. In addition to a procession at 5 p.m., there will be activities for kids and art, craft and food vendors from noon to 8 p.m. in Centennial Plaza.

Pop Up Art Show to feature 16 local artists

Drive-Through National Drug Take Back Day

The Round Rock Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) are teaming up to offer a drive-thru version of Drug Take Back Day. Simply drive through the Round Rock PD parking lot to dispose of expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs. The service is free, socially-distant, and anonymous, no questions asked.
