State of the City scheduled for Dec. 6
Round Rock Mayor Craig Morgan will deliver his State of the City address Dec. 6 at the Round Rock Chamber’s monthly Power Lunch.
Morgan will answer questions from KVUE Anchor Bryan Mays as he looks back on the accomplishments of the City over the past year and discusses the opportunities that lie ahead as Round Rock continues forward into the future.

Council approves incentives for KoMiCo
Round Rock City Council approved an economic incentive agreement with KoMiCo Technology that will result in a minimum of $30 million in new investment and at least 70 new jobs created. KoMiCo is a semiconductor equipment parts cleaning, coating and repair company that provides services to the largest and most advanced semiconductor companies across the globe.  

Round Rock announces this year's Local Legends
The Local Legend Awards program was established in 1990 to recognize those that have had a lasting impact on the culture, development, and history of Round Rock. John Wesley Wilbarger was recognized for his contributions to Round Rock’s history, as well as the Round Rock White Lime Company and Walsh Family, which were jointly recognized.

University Blvd. starts final construction phase
The University Boulevard widening project is entering its final phase of construction. This phase of construction will be completed in approximately two months while the entire project will wrap up in early 2023. Once completed, this section of University Boulevard will be a six-lane, median-divided urban arterial road.

Light Up the Lake
Friday, Dec. 2 and Saturday, Dec. 3

Old Settlers Park, 3300 E. Palm Valley Blvd.

Join us for the annual Light Up the Lake, a two-day holiday festival around the lake and festival area at Old Settlers Park. The event will feature giant balloons hovering over Bright Lake, a light show, live music, holiday displays, holiday food and refreshments, crafts, family activities, yule log and more.

Round Rock Fire Stations Open House
Saturday, Dec. 3

All Round Rock Fire Stations

The Round Rock Fire Department invites members of the community to visit their local fire station during this city-wide Open House. Come learn about the department straight from Round Rock firefighters, tour the fire stations and participate in activities.

The Round Rock Police Department will host a cyber safety event to discuss common topics that everyone needs to know. Topics discussed will include trends in cyber crime, cyber safety in and outside of the home, online safety for kids, reporting incidents and more.
