Dear OLG Families,
What a celebration this week of Catholic Schools! Friday is for all students; wrap-up with some relaxation and fun. Thank you for your support this week, and all the other 175 days of the school year!
As we begin making plans for summer and next school year, please save the date for re-registration beginning Feb 16th at our State of the School event. If you are not returning next school year, contact the school office as we have several classes this Fall in many of our grades. More details below!
Again this week I wanted to share some good news on Covid updates with you:
-
Vaccinations -- Thank you families for continuing to updated us with verified vaccination status with the school office (email a pic or simply present in person). 100% of staff and 91% of K-8 students are in-progress or have completed their vaccinations series!
-
COVID #'s -- Currently 9 positive cases school-wide; 5 new and 6 cleared.
-
As our school covid numbers and greater local area numbers are improving, we are beginning next week towards the five-day guidance many have been asking about. Read more about the decision process we will be using here for new cases moving forwards in our efforts to stay safely in-person.
Reminder: Next week is a short week of classes with time set aside for conferences (your teacher directly) and teacher professional development day... see more in the calendar, Auction news and many upcoming events this month, plus volunteer/commitment hours opportunities, and more!!! Thank you for all your work as families and as part of the greater OLG family to keep our school moving forward together!

OLG Immigrant Ministry Meeting
OLG Immigrant Ministry is welcoming new members as we strive to provide direct service to immigrants in need in our community as well as advocate for just policies. If you are interested in joining us in these efforts, contact Jennifer. Our next meeting is Friday, Feb 11 10:00am.
