OLG Prayer Walk for Peace in Ukraine after Ash Wednesday Mass
Principal's Letter
Dear OLG Families,

The seasons are changing... in weather, in our faith through the season of Lent, and in our school's response to the pandemic. As the sun starts to break through more and more, so does some relief from our restrictions.

Covid updates: Zero new case this week! We can see the weather is clearing and we may not have to wear that raincoat (i.e. mask) everywhere. Hold on! Not yet, but Gvnr Inslee's state announcement of lifting mask mandates moved his date to March 12th. One immediate change we will start this Monday (Mar 7th) is lifting our "temperature check screening" at the doors. With over 200,000 individual screenings and only 2 cases "caught at the door", this is an easy restriction to lift and will allow us to staff EDC more fully. Coming the following week (Mar 14th), look for additional changes such as increasing EDC opportunities while moving entry times to 8:15am (less need for "staggered start"), mask optional times during the day, and more adjustments to our in-class distancing protocols are on their way. Additional guidance from public health, especially for ELC, is coming by Tuesday next week and we will have more to communicate at our Parent Org meeting and with next week's newsletter.

In this newsletter:

Next week our school stays busy with the start of Lent (Ash Wednesday), a special Free Dress Friday, plus the live Auction!
Yours in Christ,

Anton Kramer

2022 Fund-a-Need

Let’s Turn that “wah wah” Beat Around with a new school-wide PA system!

Unlike Charlie Brown, our students can’t quite understand what might be coming from that old PA speaker in their classrooms. Our 2022 Auction Fund-a-Need is bringing our PA system into this decade with updated features, including added safety and security.

Let’s raise the paddle to “Ring OLG’s Bell” and meet our Fund-A-Need goal of $25,000!
