5th Graders host the Over 65 Dinner
It's a success!
Principal's Letter
Dear OLG Families,

Happy Spring! Tomorrow is the First Friday of the month, which means Spirit Wear! Thank you to all who've ordered updated OLG spirit gear in the past few weeks. Our fabulous Parent Org is putting it all together and getting that order placed!

Also this past week has been such excellent enthusiasm for our school-wide service/item drive for the Homeless/Homebound Kits that will be assembled on Saturday (Apr 6) at the OLG Day of Service. There are more than 230 folks signed-up for Day of Service, beating last years record numbers!!! That's some growth! Tomorrow is the last day to bring in items for the Homeless/Homebound Kit!

If you can't make the day of service on Saturday, come to church this Sunday to experience the Family Faith Stations of the Cross to journey through lent in service to your own faith formation as a family.

Next week our 6th graders are headed to Outdoor Education Camp at CYO Camp Hamilton! They are excited to expand on their science learning in the out-of-doors! Thanks to your generous donations at Auction and beyond, our fund-a-need Science for the Next Generation is moving forward with our teachers scheduling professional learning time with new kits in the month of May. More than half the money for these new kits is coming from our fund-a-need efforts, a bit more through federal funding we receive for professional development, and the rest through our regular curriculum budget. Thank you for your support!

Finally, a little reminder to check your child's backpack as the monthly FCE (Family Communication Envelope) has been sent home with your youngest. It holds lots of forms and invites for the upcoming events of April and May: Jog-a-Thon, Talent Show, CYO Golf Tournament, and June 3rd Mariner's Game at which our 4th/5th grade choir is signing!

Read on for more info...so much to get excited about in our great OLG community!
Yours in Christ,

Anton Kramer

Spotlight on Catholic Relief Services
The humanitarian crisis in Venezuela is escalating as political and economic instability has left hundreds of thousands of families without access to food, medical care and critical life and social services. With the average monthly income now as low as $3, more than 82 percent of the population lives in poverty. The crisis has led to the largest displacement of people in Latin American history: More than 4 million Venezuelans have fled to neighboring countries to access the most basic goods and services. CRS is supporting Venezuelans in their country and across the region through our local Catholic partners. Visit  www.crs.org  to find out how you can help, or simply keep filling that Rice Bowl!
School Fund Drive
Our School Fund Drive continues... Support the extras that make our school special: from essentials like Tuition Assistance, to the support services and extra-curricular programs, to our unique Distinguished Educator Award.
We continue to move towards our $90,000 goal this year. Use the "Make a Donation" button below or from the front of our website to make your gift.
Remember your gift must be received before the end of this school year to help us fund our staff's professional development and families' Tuition Assistance commitments.
