The City of Bristol Parks, Recreation, Youth and Community Services (BPRYCS) Department will be closed on Friday, April 7, 2023 in observance of Good Friday.

Bristol Police Game Tickets

The Parks and Grounds Crew is hard at work prepping the ballfields and courts for spring sports as well as the upcoming Bristol Police Department college baseball game (Misericordia University vs. Steven's Institute of Technology) honoring Officer Iurato on April 12th at 6pm at Muzzy Field. Tickets are available for purchase at the BPRYCS Main Office at 51 High Street - $5.00/per ticket (cash only).

Summer 2023 Brochure

Our Summer Brochure is now available! Over 90 programs and events for community members of all ages from June to August!

Registration opens on Tuesday, April 11th for Residents and Wednesday, April 12th for Non-Residents.

We are pleased to announce that the stones are in and work has resumed on the Veterans Memorial Boulevard Bridge!

The obelisks are expected to be installed on 4/12/23 with the soldiers and plaque mounted thereafter. The obelisks mark the 4 corners of the bridge and feature aluminum sculptures that are comprised of abstract clock part elements to honor the tradition of Bristol All Heart manufacturing might. A formal celebration of the new gateway will be announced soon!

BEST Youth Coalition Kick Off

The BEST Youth Coalition is kicking off this Friday! The Youth Coalition is a safe space to make friends, engage in positive development, and work to prevent youth substance use in Bristol.


Youth in grades 6 - 12 are invited to join the kickoff event this Friday, April 7th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Spare Time in Bristol. There is no cost to participate. If interested, please email BEST Project Coordinator, Mike Tingley, at michaeltingley@bristolct.gov to sign up!

Food Explorers - Spring Baking Club

Join Food Explorers and learn how to make a different sweet treat each week! Participants will have the opportunity to bake a multiple spring desserts that explore a variety of baking techniques. Stocks Playground Volleyball Courts
