Principal's Letter
Dear OLG Families,

In this ever changing season of information and procedures, we are striving to improve our communication and updating process. Please know that we are working to kick off this year even more successful than last! We know it will look and feel different. Those of you already signed-up for the LooptheLupe know that for sure (yes, still some spots available) Thank you for all you do as we come together as a community. The Parent Organization meetings, town halls, Thursday newsletters, and NEW Parent Facebook groups will provide you access to the most updated information.

This year, our school theme is We are the Bread of Life. As in all, we come together to the source to find peace and clarity in our current circumstance. John 6:35 says, Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty." It is the verse we will stand on this year. We can do this together. We can make a difference together. We are OLG Strong!

Thank you to all who attended our Town Hall meeting last week! We apologize for the technical difficulties; they are fixed for next time to allow all who want to attend access. Find the recording here. Please mark you calendar for the September 17th Town Hall meeting as we continue to work to move forward together.

Before remote learning begins, it is more important than ever to connect with your child's teacher. This is also a time to bring in any summer packet work you've been working on and collect your books / chromebooks/etc for the Fall. Please mark your calendars/signup below:

I end this week's note with a big celebration of thanks to generous donors from the Seattle area. We received a technology grant from Fulcrum Foundation that allows us to upgrade our learning tools in these Covid times. Read more here! Thank you Fulcrum Foundation!
Yours in Christ,

Anton Kramer
