Welcome to the Advent season ! Each week this December I will share with you one thing you can do, as a family, to get your hearts ready for Christmas. This week our candle of "HOPE" is lit with the words of our students. We hope you will join us in preparing for Christ's birth in any number of ways.... read more here, join us as a community at Mass this Sunday for our second Sunday of Advent, or come to Monday morning prayer with your child, our School OLG Feast Celebration (9am Wednesday 12/12), or other advent events providing a connection with our greater OLG community. In this season of light, let us continue to grow together in Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love!

Tuition Assistance Grant Application Available

The Fulcrum Tuition Assistance Grant program is designed for families and students currently enrolled or applying for the next school year in any Catholic school in the Archdiocese of Seattle. At OLG we partner with Fulcrum to provide over $100,000 in tuition assistance this year to our school families. All families must apply each year through FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment to qualify for a grant—all awards are made based on financial need.

Scrip Gift Cards - order for Christmas Gifts!

Miss 12/5 deadline for Christmas Scrip Gift cards? No problem! Order anytime up to an hour before gifting using Presto Pay! You'll need to setup Presto Pay in advance of purchasing, but once that's done, you have easy access! More info in this week's FCE.

Pizza Friday 

has been a great success for the first part of the year! We are preparing for the second half of the school year and have posted the option to bulk purchase pizza for January thru June. Now is the time to take advantage of ordering pizza for 2019 if you didn't already order for the full year! NAMI Smarts for Advocacy

NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) presented to our middle school students this week. You too can help End the Silence; turn your passion and lived experience into a positive voice for mental health with the NAMI Smarts for Advocacy training. Wednesday, January 9th, 2019 from 6:30-9. Have 1 Hour to Give Each Month? Help Promote the Community Meal!

We are looking for a volunteer for a very flexible, easy role on our Community Meal team. We need a volunteer to help post flyers at designated spots in the West Seattle/White Center area prior to the meal each month. Contact Jennifer or  206-935-0358  x120
