Dear OLG Families,
Happy February. Tonight your FCE's came home with your students and is full of upcoming February events. Quick reminder to check those backpacks and also don't forget
Spirit Wear tomorrow!
Hopefully you also found the link to Winter Conferences and mid-tri progress reports in your email last night. We have noticed an uptick of emails going to junk/spam filters recently, so please check there, but you're also welcome to contact your teacher for another copy or the school office. Next week we do have the noon dismissal on Wednesday and full-day of conferences for PK-8th grade conferences. The link again for conference sign-ups is
here.
Finally, if you didn't catch the news in the Parish Bulletin last weekend, there is an exciting announcement
this weekend about one of our own, Michelle Scheving! Michelle is joining the parish staff as Pastoral Associate for Administration. Michelle is working closely with Pete (outgoing PAA) and parish staff to be up and running full time starting Monday! Congrats Michelle, and welcome to the Parish Staff!
This weekend also holds a blessing of the Hospitality Hut for the
Safe Parking Program. More details below in the parish section on this program as it continues to move forward under the consultative input of parish and school families! Thank you all who are guiding this program towards its launch date planned later this month.

Has your kiddo outgrown their uniform?
Hard to believe, but we’re about halfway through the school year. Well it's time to turn it in for the next kid and pick up something that fits. Lost your sweatshirt or vest? I have some! Need pants? We’ve got tons - boys AND girls! The uniform closet/room is organized and ready for business. You may
e-mail
or
text
me at any time with your personal request and I will get you what you need. Usually within a day or two turnaround time.
Also, if you are looking to clean out your closets, you can always bring in your gently used pants, jumpers, skirts, etc.
to the front office.
NO WHITE SHIRTS PLEASE - unless they are brand new or
barely
used. Thank you!

Day of Service 2020: Nature Consortium
Save the Date for the Day of Service on Saturday,
Mar 28th
. With 19 projects to choose from, you may need more information! This week's featured project is
Nature Consortium
. Catholic social teaching inspires Catholics to “Care for God’s Creation” as part of our mission to build a just and holy world amidst all the challenges around us. Through
Nature Consortium
, a grassroots community-based organization, volunteers have the opportunity to live out this teaching. With the mission to connect people, arts and nature, volunteers will be paired with one of the Nature Consortium’s restoration staff. Together, volunteers and staff will work on invasive plant removal, mulching, planting and gardening activities in West Seattle. All are welcome.
